The First Of The Farmers Porches!

Over the last few weeks, the first farmer’s porches have been installed on-site. We are so pleased with how they look and can't wait for them to be used by residents.

Hillside's farmer’s porches are designed to encourage interaction between residents, offer outdoor living space, shade on hot days, and shelter on rainy days, and provide a sheltered outdoor storage area for bicycles, strollers, and recycling. 

The West-facing farmer’s porches are 8x20 feet, while the covered storage areas are 5x20 feet and feature a gated screen to hide stored items from street views.
