Ten nearly weathertight units on Cottage Court with solar parking canopies

We have ten nearly weathertight units on Cottage Court. This is a huge achievement for the entire Hillside team and marks the spot where things will begin to get really exciting. 

The four solar parking canopies are almost complete and will be generating energy soon. On their best days, they will have the capacity to generate 136,800 watts per hour. You can see these solar parking canopies by Hillside on Route 1. Additional solar arrays will be mounted on all southern-facing rooftops throughout the campus. Hillside's total solar capacity is approximately 400 kW, which is enough electricity to power all 48 residences and 50 electric vehicles.

In addition, all interior walls on the first-floor units are framed and awaiting sheet rock. The rooftop patios and second floors were poured with concrete this week, so the following steps to completing the Cottage Court units are installing drywall, cabinets, fixtures, finishes, and appliances. Energy-efficient appliances have already been selected and purchased to install in the first units.
